Investment Events Investment events are specialised evenings held monthly in each region and chaired by a Go Beyond facilitator
At these events, you will meet between 2 and 4 start-ups looking for Angel investing. You will have opportunities to create syndicates to invest with others and discuss current investments
These events are structured for maximum benefit to each attendee. The evening is split into two distinct formats:
Part 1 – First Hour Each start-up will have an opportunity to pitch their business to the group followed by Q&A. Investors will also have time to complete an evaluation sheet on each pitch
Part 2 – Second Hour This second session will begin with a confidential discussion and review between the Go Beyond facilitator and investors to determine if there is any interest in the presenting start-ups
Investors who show interest will have opportunities to form syndicates (if they choose). The facilitator will then set up a deal collaborative room (electronic platform) between the investors and the start-up
This session is also a great opportunity for existing investor groups to discuss their investments
The Go Beyond facilitator will be on-hand to answer questions during this part of the event
