Hey girl, are you obsessed with Pretty Little Thing‘s affordable, Instagram-worthy fashion? I don‘t blame you – PLT has been my go-to for years when I want to refresh my ‘fits without spending my whole paycheck. But while Pretty Little Thing will always have a special place in my closet, I‘m always down to expand my style horizons and find even more options for scoring the hottest looks for less.
If you‘re not familiar, Pretty Little Thing is a UK-based fast fashion retailer that‘s become a favorite among young, trendy shoppers and influencers alike. They‘re known for their sexy, confident vibe and endless selection of going-out looks, everyday co-ords, and flirty dresses, all mostly under $100. PLT is basically the spot to snag an outfit for every occasion, from brunch to the club to that fire Instagram photoshoot.
But here‘s the thing: as much as I adore PLT, they‘re not the only ones serving up cute and affordable lewks. There are actually tons of other online stores with the same energy as Pretty Little Thing – on-trend styles, prices that won‘t make you cry, and just an overall fun shopping experience. So whether PLT is sold out of that going-out top you needed like yesterday or you just wanna switch things up, you‘ve got options, girl.
I‘ve rounded up a list of 20 online stores similar to Pretty Little Thing, based on my own experience as a bargain-hunting fashion lover who lives on the ‘gram. I‘ve personally shopped at most of these spots and can vouch that they‘re just as good as PLT. They each have their own unique vibes and specialties, but all of them are serving straight LOOKS on a budget. Let‘s get into it.
1. Boohoo
If you like PLT, you‘ll definitely vibe with Boohoo. It‘s another British fast fashion brand with prices and styles that are super similar to Pretty Little Thing. They have a massive selection and tons of different vibes, from sexy night-out ‘fits to cool streetwear to the cutest beachwear. Boohoo is always on top of the latest trends – think neon, animal print, that "clean girl aesthetic" all over TikTok rn. The prices are stupid cheap, with tons of pieces under $20 and frequent sitewide sales. Shipping is also fast and free over $50.
One thing I love about Boohoo is they carry sizes 2-24, so my curvy girls have just as many cute options as my straight-size babes. They also have maternity and petite lines. Obsessed! Boohoo‘s target audience is women in their late teens to late 20s who wanna look hot AF on a budget. They‘re all over social media, with over 7M followers on Instagram, so you know they‘re always on trend.
Here are a few of my fave recent cops from Boohoo:
- This hot pink satin cowl neck bodycon dress that was only $18 and made me feel like a Bratz doll in the best way
- The cutest zebra print bikini that fits like a dream and looks way more expensive than $15
- These faux leather flare pants that are giving major ‘90s supermodel vibes for only $30
Not only are Boohoo‘s prices on point, but the quality is actually decent for fast fashion. I‘ve had luck with most of my purchases holding up well after multiple wears and washes. Their jeans in particular fit me super well and don‘t stretch out too much. And with such a huge selection, the possibilities for mixing and matching pieces are endless.
2. SHEIN
If you thought PLT and Boohoo were cheap, just wait ‘til you see SHEIN‘s prices, sis. This Chinese fast fashion brand is the ultimate plug for trendy clothes on an even tighter budget. I‘m talking tops and dresses for like, $7, and full ‘fits for under $20. It‘s wild. The catch is you‘ll def have to pay for shipping unless you spend $100+, and the quality can be a little sus at times. But SHEIN is clutch when you wanna try out a bold new trend without dropping too much cash.
SHEIN adds like 500 new items a day and has a massive selection of everything from basics to wedding guest dresses to swimwear to the cutest home decor. They even have a men‘s section now. And my plus size queens aren‘t left out – SHEIN carries up to a size 4XL in some fire lewks. Their target demo is similar to Pretty Little Thing, mostly teens and twenty-somethings looking for an endless rotation of Insta-worthy outfits.
With 25M+ followers on Instagram, SHEIN is a social media beast. They‘re killing the influencer game and always showing how to style their pieces in the most fire ways. I‘m always taking notes on how to elevate my SHEIN buys!
Like any cheap fast fashion brand, SHEIN can be kind of a gamble quality-wise. I stick with reading the reviews and checking out customer photos before I order, which helps a lot. Some of my best SHEIN finds have been:
- This slinky cowl neck cami that looks way more expensive than $6 and comes in a bunch of cute colors
- The most perfect dupe for With Jéan‘s popular Alexa dress for only $17 (I snagged it in black floral and the green)
- These wide leg jeans that fit like a glove and have the perfect baggy silhouette for only $22
Pro tip: Always peep the reviews and size charts on SHEIN to avoid any major surprises when your order arrives. And don‘t be afraid to size up, especially on the more fitted pieces!
3. Princess Polly
For my girlies who like their ‘fits a little more on the sweet and girly side, you gotta check out Princess Polly. This Australian brand has the most adorable selection of flirty florals, romantic puff sleeves, and dainty two-piece sets that are to die for. But don‘t get it twisted, they can totally do edgy and sexy too – hello, slinky cowl necks and cut-out minis!
The vibe is very "soft girl" meets "cool girl", with a perfect mix of trendy and timeless pieces you‘ll reach for again and again. I‘m especially obsessed with their dress selection – they have so many cute options for every occasion, from date nights to weddings to brunch with the besties. And most of them are under $100, we love to see it.
Princess Polly‘s main demo is defo Gen Z and young millennials. They have over 2M followers on Insta and do a ton of super cute influencer collabs. I‘m always finding new styling inspo on their feed. They also have rewards and afterpay programs that make treating yourself even easier.
A few of my MVP Princess Polly pieces have been:
- This vintage-inspired puff sleeve floral dress that gives me major "cottagecore" vibes in the best way
- The comfiest ribbed tee and biker short set that I literally LIVE in on lazy days (I got it in three colors and have no ragrets)
- The most perfect cowl neck satin midi dress that made me feel like a total bombshell at my friend‘s wedding
Princess Polly‘s shipping is also scary fast – I‘m talking like, 2-3 days fast. And returns are free for the first 30 days, even if you‘ve worn the item! They def have some of the best customer service of any fast fashion brand, which is a huge plus.
4. ASOS
If you‘re looking for the ultimate selection, ASOS is your girl. This UK-based brand is like if Pretty Little Thing and a department store had a baby. They have their own super trendy in-house labels (ASOS Design is my jam), but they also carry literally hundreds of other brands, including some designer names. It‘s a one-stop-shop for basically every vibe, fit, and price point.
One of the coolest things about ASOS is how inclusive they are. Not only do they carry up to a US 26 in a ton of styles, but they also have maternity, petite, and tall lines. We love a brand that gets everybody snatched! They also have a killer men‘s section, so you can get your boo in on the haul too.
ASOS‘ prices are a lil pricier than PLT on average, but they have a huge range. You can def still find a ton of cute pieces under $50, you just might have to dig a lil more. They also always have a sale section that‘s A1. Hot tip: If you‘re a student, you can get 10% off your order with Unidays. Yessir!
Unsurprisingly, ASOS has a huuuuge social media presence, with over 11M Insta followers. They post a ton of outfit inspo and behind-the-scenes content that I always eat right up. It‘s a great way to discover new brands they carry too.
ASOS has blessed me with some fire ‘fits over the years, but these are a few of my ride-or-dies:
- This satin slip dress that fits like an absolute dream and makes me feel like a ‘90s supermodel off duty
- The most perfect pair of mom jeans I‘ve literally ever put on my body, the ASOS Design Ritson jeans (I sized down in these and they fit chef‘s kiss)
- This sexy lil going out top that makes me feel like a Bratz doll in the club (iykyk)
All in all, ASOS is the move when you‘re not totally sure what you‘re looking for and wanna explore a ton of different brands/styles. They also have free shipping and returns over $50, which is clutch.
5. Missguided
If you like your ‘fits with a side of ✨spice✨, you‘re gonna love Missguided. This UK brand is all about serving body-ody-ody and looking hot AF 24/7. But like, make it fashion. They have a very similar aesthetic to Pretty Little Thing – think sexy night-out looks, wild prints/colors, and trendy matching sets galore.
Missguided is a lil bit pricier than PLT, with most stuff falling in the $25-$80 range, but they have sales literally all the time. And the quality is a smidge better than some other fast fashion sites, so you‘re still getting a bang for your buck. They also have a plus size line that goes up to a US 20!
Missguided‘s target demo is defo that bad b*tch in her 20s who‘s always down for a good time and lives to make an entrance. The brand has almost 4M followers on Instagram and is always serving straight LEWKS. Def peep their page for styling inspo before your next big night out.
I‘ve snagged some of my fave going-out pieces from Missguided, including:
- The most fire cheetah print sheer mesh top and pant set that made me feel like Shania Twain in the most sickening way
- This sexy lil ruched satin number that hugs the bod in alllll the right places (would be perf for a hot date, js)
- The coolest faux leather moto jacket that instantly elevates any outfit, day or night
Missguided offers free shipping over $50 and free returns, which is always a plus in my book. And they have Klarna/Afterpay options if you wanna split up your payments! We love a deal.
Okay my loves, that‘s the tea on some of my fave online shops that give the same vibes as Pretty Little Thing. I hope this list helps you expand your style horizons and find even more ways to serve looks on a budget. I know I‘m always game to share my bargain shopping secrets with my girls.
At the end of the day, fashion should be fun and make you feel like that btch, whether you‘re rocking PLT, Boohoo, ASOS, or any of these other gems. The clothes don‘t make the bad btch – YOU make the clothes, periodt! So go forth and fill up that cart with all the confidence in the world. And don‘t forget to tag me in the ‘fit pic so I can gas you up in the comments, okurrr?
Happy shopping, babes! And don‘t be afraid to mix and match pieces from all your fave spots to create the lewk of your dreams. That‘s the beauty of fashion, there are no rules. Till next time! xx
